There are 4 Sensitivity Levels you can use in your home.
They can be adjusted using the Aura app:
Level 1 – Appropriate for apartments or condos to avoid detecting motion from neighbors. This setting will cover a living space with shared walls and/or hallways, where there may be motion that you do not wish to detect. Level 1 is also appropriate for covering just a particular area of the home.
Level 2 – Most often used for moderate sized homes with an open-concept layout or minimal walls. Townhomes are good candidates for Level 2, as are smaller detached homes of a more recent construction (20 years or newer).
Level 3 – Suitable for moderate sized homes with lots of walls or a particular layout. The construction and layout of a home determines how well Aura can detect motion, so Level 3 gives you a motion detection boost.
Level 4 – Best for large homes or homes built with materials that are challenging for WiFi coverage. The presence of lathe and plaster, a very segmented living area, or an expansive home all make for good Level 4 candidates.
Once you choose a setting for your home, you can monitor whether it is suitable by walking through areas where you would like Aura coverage. You can check for coverage by viewing the Live Motion card.
The [placement] of your Hub and Beacon also play a large role in Aura coverage.
* You can't purchase more than 3 additional beacons for each starter kit.
* Your Aura Home setup will not work without the addition of a starter kit
